Blues at Spanky's Fireside by ~lunacirce:iconlunacirce:

A couple danced awkward and puppetlike
   in the background
As the raunchy blues musician
   writhed on the floor.

I stared into the disco ball
   and tried to decide whether
she sounded more like
   Tina Turner or Janis Joplin.

I  never did come to a conclusion
because she acted more like a stripper
Than a musician.
And I didn't want to watch anymore.
